Club show/Crufts!!

Apologises for not blogging sooner but i'm afraid crufts has got in the way abit. How lucky where we with the weather for our first show. We really enjoyed ourselves and hope that you all did aswell and hopefully gave you abit of an insight to the competition world. I thought all the dogs coped really well and was very pleased with how they worked without treats and toys, well of course except Matthew and Toby, Toby managed to run his Dad over a fence instead of the other way round. We are looking forward to the next one which we are changing the date as we won't have done much training for so as soon as i've sorted it out i will let you all know. The results are as follows,
Agility
1st Melanie and Conker
2nd Alison and Barney
3rd Ali and Winni

Jumping
1st Andrew and Poppy
2nd Julie and Harry
3rd Lucy and Milly

Steeplechase
1st Sarah and Jess
2nd Lucy and Milly
Unfortunaltey there was no 3rd in the steeplechase as everyone else got eliminated he he!! Congratulations to everyone.

As you all may know i qualified for crufts with 2 dogs hence why i've been abit pre occupied. Jess qualified in agility where she came 6th with 5 faults becuase off my bad handling!! I was really pleased as she had every oppourtunity to play up and se didn't. Diesel was entered in a dogstable which is agility and obedience together and dresses as a super hero and we also got on the TV!!! Diesel was fantastic and didn't put a paw wrong she finished up 6th and her heel work was fab for a boxer, hopefully next year well have a few more people qualified for crufts!!!

Our new equipment has arrived which is great so we have a full set of equipment woop woop. although does mean that i am know going to put the prices up to £4 a lesson to help pay for the equipment.

I have added a for sale section to the blog so if you want to advertise you un wanted doggy things let me know.
Please keep the August bank holiday free as we have kindly been offered a slot at the Rotary club beer festival to do a demonstration so would like as many people as possible to join in.
